Website updates and base coating

Some of my evening was spent making this place look more like a human website, and adding the photography blurb and starting whatever this is.  The rest was chilling and catching up on some TV while painting, since Critical Role is still off-season.  I had started up two miniatures at the same time since several characters are about to retire at once.  I’m not sure I like it, because it delays the satisfaction of finishing.  I’m kind of stuck finishing them in order to not waste paints on my wet palette though. My lazy process for base coating is just starting with the dominant color.

I still definitely need to refine my photography/macro/close setup in my room.  I was getting tired/sore so I stopped before I got too deep, but it was decent progress:

I might finish them this weekend while the unused paints are still fresh.
