A lucky photograph day
Monday I got a couple rare-ish opportunities to take some pictures!
First, a pregnant preying mantis on the bushes in front of my house:
Then I found a baby housefly, who was too young or unwilling to fly away. I don’t think it’s cute, but it’s still interesting.
Lastly, I found this little sparrow who didn’t quite seem to have the hang of flying yet. I did watch it jump up and half-fly four feet into the air to attack a bug, but I wasn’t fast enough to capture it.
I thought these three were the best of the ones I took, but a couple more came out alright:
